Actually released (thus in stock NOW!!) on 4th August, in time for HEALTH's one of UK show with NO AGE at the scala in London on the 12th: No Pain In Pop drop another soon to sell out, limited slab of essential-ness: HEALTH are not your traditional nasty, reactionary noise band ? their noise meets melody. It's strangely euphoric: //M\ sounds like a thousand sighs and a thousand highs, all at once. Live they are savage, on record they prove they can almost soothe. The band have always embraced dance music (check this years HEALTH//DISCO album and past remixes with Crystal Castles) and as such the B-side is an exclusive electro-punk remix by fellow LA dwellers Captain Ahab. we are getting 400 copies of the 500 pressing: act fast! ///NO PAIN IN POP\ is a New Cross based record label. After a sold out Telepathe 7" and an acclaimed compilation featuring No Age, Crystal Castles and Parts & Labor, this is their third release. Future releases are scheduled with Gentle Friendly, Cassie & the Cassettes, Banjo or Freakout and Tomb Crew.
