Pelt's mix of traditional (acoustic instruments, folk and ethnic music) and contemporary (about one million super-weird noise and avant garde records) reaches a new peak on their latest full-length CD pronounced "Teyhood." Using tamboura, guitar, violin, tabla, banjo, flute, lap steel, oscillator, voice, organ and a variety of other instruments both conventional and homemade, Pelt issue forth a massive and extraordinary gust of sound. Recorded both at home and live in Washington, D.C., it's a sound extravaganza complete with Indian inspired modal trance, wall-of-sound layered melodica, and tape-loop exotica in the vein of compositional explorers like Terry Riley and Steve Reich.

The red vinyls disappeared for RSD 2010, but theres a further 350 black vinyls being done to saitate demand for this timeless classic:A special repressing of the classic debut single from the Electric Eels, in a facsimile of the original sleeve: Agitated Records was pretty much blown away when the Electric Eels camp agreed for this to happen, and thus decided it made a perfect RSD release. the single itself is 35 years old this year, and still blows away most of anything released since, the sound of amps crackling, the feral vocals, and just an attitude that few have neared. Catalogue number is IMSO000, it's a year zero of sorts for the label Agitated: its possibly the most wild blast of punk rock ever, raw, visceral, its simply one of the greatest singles of all time, its what inspired the label to be called Agitated, and its by the Electric Eels, artrock meets volume and they didn't care if they accidentally invented punk rock?the perfect opening to a record ever?the desperate scream of desolation and desperation.. never bettered.
