The latest full-length platter by THE SANDWITCHES. San Francisco's Sandwitches have been plugging away at their craft for a couple magical years now, sprinkling their barbed, alluring electric folk briars across unsuspecting gardens in the Bay Area and beyond. Previous releases, such as the swampy ecstasy of How To Make Ambient Sadcake and last year's oceanic ouija board of an EP, Duck Duck Goose!, captured distinct sides of the trio. Mrs. Jones Cookies is here now to unify their uniquely whimsical and creepy vision. Mrs. Jones' Cookies pours Sadcake's plaintive bounce into Duck Duck's celestial, mysterious drift, spiking the mix with a side they've previously only hinted at: a playfulness, a comfort. It's the sound of a band at ease with unease. Even when they're plumbing the most desperate depths, there's an unforced confidence in the lonely plucking of guitarists HEIDI ALEXANDER and GRACE COOPER. The shared vocal duties are where these ladies truly and finally let loose. On 'Lightfoot' and single 'Summer Of Love,' drummer ROXY BRODEUR punches out lively, soul-flecked trots, as Grace and Heidi tickle the end of their high and low ranges, returning later to those highs and lows with extra force and bluster, shooting out the lights with aplomb. GOOD NIGHT' His brand new album 'SEVEN IDIOTS' will finally be released outside of Japan this April. Shifting seamlessly from catchy pop hooks to elaborate orchestrations and brutal IDM drones, it's an irregular pop album ? filled with twists and turns that will have you reaching for the repeat button. At first recorded with vocals, he took the unusual composing method of building up the songs before erasing all of their vocal parts. By dismantling and re-constructing each track, WEG has produced a genre-defying album that truly transcends categorisation. World's End Girlfriend hails from Nagasaki Kyushu, Japan and currently resides in Tokyo. Fascinated by his father's classical music collection, he began his foray into sound at the tender age of 10, creating his early compositions on keyboard, guitar, tape recorders and computers. To date he has composed more than 600 songs, for the most part unreleased testaments of his early experimentations. WEG first came on Europe's radar in 2002, invited to perform at Barcelona's renowned Sonar Festival. On the back of the collaborative album 'Palmless Prayer / Mass Murder Refrain' with Japanese post-rock band Mono, he embarked on extensive tours in Europe and North America in 2005, returning for an appearance at ATP Festival in 2008. Recently performing as a seven-piece ensemble, WEG's ostentious live show is currently selling out 800 capacity venues in Asia. Filmmakers seem smitten too, with the Go Shibata directed movie 'Late Bloomer' (2004) and the internationally renowned 'Air Doll' (2009) by award-winning director Hirokazu Koreeda both featuring soundtracks created by World's End Girlfriend. The music video for 'Les Enfants du Paradis', taken from 'SEVEN IDIOTS', has already received over 90.000 views on YouTube. Directed by Yohei Saito, this beguiling visual represents the high level of interest given to WEG's music, not widely available outside of Asia ? until now.

Joining the esteemed company of past Green Series participants BP Fallon and Conan O'Brien is Amy Walker. Amy is an actress who has made quite a name for herself as an expert in the field of replicating accents from all over the globe, as evidenced by the over 5 millions views of her "21 Accents" video on YouTube not to mention appearances on the Today Show and Inside Edition. On the a-side Amy runs through her wide selection of different accents as a improvisational rolling internal dialogue. The a side also contains a reading from a random article in the local newspaper, each sentence in a different accent from around the world performed live. On the b-side, she's interviewed by White discussing everything from the overuse of the word "like" by modern teenagers, offending people by speaking in their accents and a wide-range of other topical subjects in an exploration of accents and dialects and how they relate to peoples preconceptions, and influence prejudices. In the spirit of the Amy Walker single, Third Man is printing an unprecedented 30 different sleeves, each one depicting Amy as a different persona or character.
