***LONG OVERDUE VINYL REPRESS ON THIS SCORCHING DEBUT ALBUM FROM THIS MELBOURNE SYNTH-PUNK SUPERGROUP Featuring members of Eddy Current Suppression Ring and The UV Race, the band known as Total Control originally came together due to a shared love of minimal and electronic-based punk music. Over the course of four 7" releases, their music ran the gamut of electronic post-punk, from dark new wave to jarring noise to austere cold wave. Their debut album, Henge Beat, was recorded and produced by guitarist Mikey Young (Eddy Current) in the Australian summer of 2011 and has recently been released on vinyl in the US on the Iron Lung label. This CD edition is exclusive to Fuse and sees the band achieving an excellent cohesion of the sounds from each of their previous singles. Total Control contain just the right balance of abandon and discipline. You need comparisons? Think: Devo, Joy Division, Cabaret Voltaire, Suicide, Swell Maps, Screamers, etc.The band are heading off soon for a tour of the US with The Oh Sees, before setting off to the UK to play the All Tomorrow's Parties festival and a European tour, only to return here for live shows throughout the summer. They already have a rabid fan base down here and this CD will get some major action from music sites, blogs, street press, community radio and Triple J. (we're also bringing some of the US vinyl in too)

Circuits was originally released in 1999 on the Vermiform label. It was well received, even charting on CMJ. This reissue puts Circuits on vinyl for the first time as a deluxe double LP with a gatefold cover and a full bonus side of unreleased material. Circuits includes AMPS FOR CHRIST collaborator TARA TAVI (ex-BLUE SILK SUTURES, BASTARD NOISE, SAVAGE REPUBLIC, currently of AUTO DA FE), who plays yangqin (Chinese hammer dulcimer) and sings. Former MAN IS THE BASTARD drummer JOEL CONNELL plays tablas and percussion. Remastered for vinyl by TIM STOLLENWERK (Mississippi Records, Sublime Frequencies, Fat Possum). Co-released by Turned Word Records. Features a four-song bonue side of unreleased material-"Empire," a song recorded for a compilation that was supposed to be released by L.A. venue, The Smell; the original track "Yamasuka;" and the folk standards "Knight On The Road" and "Bonny Greenwoodside," the latter recorded live at the Claremont Forum in 2001. no returns at all.. this is deluxe 2LP package.

VHF presents a public service reissue of this impossibly rare and choice title in the Vibracathedral Orchestra oeuvre, originally issued by the band in 2004 in an edition of 250. Featuring the "classic" lineup (Mick Flower, Neil Campbell, Bridget Hayden, Adam Davenport, Julian Bradley) that made Queen of Guess and Dabbling With Gravity and Who You Are, this self-titled double takes a wild ride through the inner-workings of VCO's stream of consciousness. Many of the tracks (selected from research and development jams) cut in abruptly, continuing the informal, expansive vibe of the band's other self-released items. The thick blanket of signature drone-fog is never far away, anchoring tunes that veer from early Velvets-style rock jammers ("Thrift") to swirling electronic mystery ("Clear"). On side three, "Gist" builds up a looping, guitar-led rhythm like a lost AR & Machines track, sharing the same side with the pulsing "Fl?tz," which rides a taut electro-pulse bolstered by group small percussion. This lengthy two-disc album concludes with the almost side-long "Minkey," featuring the full complement of VCO sound signatures in one big, hallucinatory swirl. Exclusive to this release is a 35-minute DVD of three live performances selected by Flower. A rare chance to see some cinema verit? of the group in action, the performances here (shot in the UK in 2005 and 2007) are all on the rocking side, with furious drumming and guitar strangling. Perhaps best of all is Flower and Campbell's optional audio commentary track (!) on "Wisdom T," providing some insight on the how and why (and some witticisms, too)
