*NO LONGER A UK RSD RELEASE DUE TO COMPLICATIONS WITH THE U.S. SCHEDULE, CONTACT YOUR REP IF YOU NEED TO AMEND ORDER* ”Seen You Here”45 rpm single from 1982 reissued for the first time ever !! The Jobcentre Rejects series of compilation albums is a Nuggets, Pebbles, Killed By Death for the NWOBHM gengre. The singles featured on Jobcentre Rejects are all very rare and highly collectable. This limited RSD vinyl 45rpm re-issue is a good oportunity to lay your hands on a gem featured on Jobcentre Rejects at a more affordable price. Predatür unleashed the irresistable ”Seen You Here” 45 back in ’82. It was the Reading bands’ only single, but what a DIY total knockout blast of a vinyl fortyfive it is!!! The Motörhead-evoking umlaut aside, the overriding influence on the rough creation is Status Quo and (loads of) beer-stained guitar boogie. Housed in a picture sleeve that appears to have been drawned by someone in the last row of the class room and a sound that is perfect raw pub-metal and punk rock boogie, this is stuff destined to drive its listeners into an unhinged binge of air guitar frenzy and spontanious loud hollers of joy The original artwork from 1982 is reproduced and the sound is carefully remastered. File under: ”beyond essential listening for any rock’n’roll fan”.

COLOURED BALLS - 'THE LAST SUPPER FIRST OR SCENES WE DIDN'T GET TO SEE'
Formats
JAW038 - LP
Details
Their first recordings! Before "Ball Power" (1973). Before "Heavy Metal Kid" (1974). Proto Punk/Boogie/Blues/Progressive/Psych/50s Rock 'n Roll/Pure Pop that still cannot be pigeonholed. Back in print for the first time in over 40 years. After vocalist/lead guitarist LOBBY LOYDE had blazed a trail in THE PURPLE HEARTS, WILD CHERRIES, and THE AZTECS, he formed COLOURED BALLS and Australian rock 'n roll has never been the same. Recorded in late October/early November ‘72, but not issued until May ‘76. Shortly after it was recorded in ‘72, their manager left their label, Havoc Records, and took COLOURED BALLS with him. He then secured them a deal with EMI Records who were offered the chance to release what became “The First Supper Last or Scenes We Didn't Get To See”. It was originally slated to be titled "Rock Your Arse Off!". EMI declined, saying the recordings were too raw and that there were too many different musical styles to market - which is, of course, two of COLOURED BALLS’ greatest strengths. The album was finally released in ‘76 when Lobby signed a new solo record deal with Rainbird Records to issue his "Obsecration" album, the tapes for "First Supper Last" were also dusted off for release. Sadly, Rainbird Records folded soon after it was issued, which is why original copies can fetch $400+. It’s been out of print ever since, until now. Includes detailed liners by Ian McFarlane with rare photos and flyers. FIRST TIME EVER REISSUE ON VINYL!

COLOURED BALLS - 'FLASH B/W DAVE THE RAVE'
Formats
JAW039 - 7"
Details
COLOURED BALLS' legendary and nearly impossible to find "Flash" b/w "Dave The Rave" single from November '73 is finally back in print for the first time ever. It was originally released on EMI Australia a month ahead of their essential “Ball Power” LP. “Flash” is, of course, the cracking lead-off track on “Ball Power” and features a rare lead vocal from bassist Janis “John” Miglans. You can almost feel the air being pushed by Bob's Millar's Strauss stacks as he rips into those opening chords right before Lobby Loyde tears into one of his trademark leads. Exclusive B-side “Dave The Rave” has never been reissued on vinyl ever!

COLOURED BALLS - 'WON'T YOU MAKE UP YOUR MIND'
Formats
JAW040 - 7"
Details
First-time-ever unique pairing of two of COLOURED BALLS' most savage bangers. Talk about being ahead of your time. This would have been right at home on Chiswick Records circa '76. If only EMI Australia would have had the *balls* to release "Won't You Make Up Your Mind" as a single back in ‘73. Punk would have started three years earlier in Australia if that had been the case. It ended up as an album track on their godhead “Ball Power” long player. “Devil’s Disciple”, one of their greatest tunes, was originally relegated to the b-side of their September ‘73 single “Mess Of The Blues”. "Won't You Make Up Your Mind" has never appeared on a 7" before and this the first time "Devil's Disciple" has been available on vinyl since it was originally released.

Details
Hypnotic sequences, majestic drones and deep listening ambience collide on a new album from Richard Norris entitled ‘Elements’. The five long tracks use warm, pulsing electronics and washes of synthesiser to create an evocative and widescreen sound. Electronic Sound magazine called Richard “the electronic musician’s electronic musician’, whilst Time Out New York referred to him as an ‘unhinged sonic magician’ He has a deep and broad history spanning decades of electronic culture, which serves him well on ‘Elements’. His background includes working alongside Soft Cell’s Dave Ball in the Grid, alongside Erol Alkan in Beyond The Wizards Sleeve, and collaborating and mixing countless artists including Brian Eno, Sun Ra, Robert Fripp, Warpaint, Tame Impala, Joe Strummer, Yello and many more. He has also recently released two deep listening ambient albums entitled ‘Abstractions’ on the Group Mind label, as well as a series of weekly 20 minute pieces called ‘Music For Healing’ during lockdown. Live shows were planned to support the album, and will take place as soon as is possible. Video artist Bill Borez has created an hour long visual show to accompany these, which is getting occasional internet viewings, including the opening spot at this years on line Sea Change festival. More dates to follow. In the meantime, dive in to the world of ‘Elements’.

PASCAL COMELADE - 'SENTIMIENTOS'
Formats
ETAT15 - LP

Details
***Originally released in 1982, PASCAL COMELADE’s Sentimientos is one of the most elusive and sought after LPs in the French composer’s vast catalogue. Recorded on a two-track Revox machine, the album is an eclectic series of brief pieces—only two of the twenty tracks exceed four minutes—showcasing his poetic imagination and impressive range. While much of Comelade’s early work hints at many of the major electronic movements to come, Sentimientos remains earthbound and organic. Melodic fragments performed on piano, organ, plastic saxophone, vibes, guitar, toy piano, ukulele and synthesizer place Comelade’s boundless creative spirit on display. It is telling that Comelade chooses to cover a Brian Eno tune not from the ambient pioneer’s seminal Music For Airports, released just four years earlier, but rather the more traditional “Taking Tiger Mountain,” here rendered to highlight the song’s previously hidden hymn-like qualities. Like fellow countryman Ghédalia Tazartès, there is something distinctly unclassifiable aboutComelade’s music. Undoubtedly, the two artists share a flair for the mischievous. Sentimientos is an unapologeticallywhimsical, frequently dizzying and loveably anarchic album of manic energy and radiant mystery—a perfectintroduction to Comelade’s singular musical mind. This first-time reissue is limited to 750 numbered copies.

FLUENCE - 'S/T'

ETAT14 - LP

Details
***FLUENCE is the brainchild and first release of sound artist / provocateur PASCAL COMELADE. Recorded in Montpellier, France in 1974-1975, the project consists of exploratory electronic pieces in the Fripp & Eno vernacularwith a Kosmische tinge. “A Few Reasons To Stay / A Few Reasons To Split,” a title inspired by Swiss conceptualartist Urs Lüthi, features Comelade’s kaleidoscopic arpeggios and RICHARD PINHAS’ howling guitar, which variously resembles a dreamlike cello and ghostly human moans. “Barcelona Tango’s” off-kilter exotica with pockettrumpet and looping drum beats foreshadows Comelade’s later work, which would create a stir in some avant-gardecircles for his use of unorthodox instruments (plastic saxophone, toy piano, etc.). On the side-long “Schizo,”Comelade’s electric organ with probing, Terry Riley-esque swooshes collides with GABRIEL IBANEZ’s thick, reedybuzz—together forming a truly magical soundscape. These incendiary performances ably join the ranks of otherdreamily cosmic, impressionistic guitar-and-synth masterworks like No Pussyfooting and The Serpent (In Quicksilver) as well as Conny Veit’s work with Popol Vuh. Originally released in 1975, Fluence offers a remarkable emotional and textural range—richly experimental and deeply progressive—that sounds at once timeless and strikinglycontemporary. This first-time standalone reissue is limited to 750 numbered copies.

***Limited PINK vinyl pressing!!!**** This summer marks 40 years since the release of what we feel is onethe most important singles in American punk history. Fronted by an aggressive, openly gay, unrepentant communist, THE DICKS were an elemental force in the early ‘80s Texas punk scene. Their influence on countless musicians, artists and activists world wide four decades later can be felt today. Sadly, instead of being an interesting artifact from a troubled time long since past, "Hate The Police" is still depressingly relevant. 1-2-3-4 Go! has taken great pains to faithfully reissue this legendary single. Re-mastered at Fantasy by GEORGE HORN in 2012 this is the best soundingversion and only legitimate reissue since the original. The cover has been fully restored to it’s three color glory and comes with the lyric insert. All living band members have given their approval were compensated. Proceeds from this pressing will be donated to Black Lives Matter and Homeless Youth Alliance San Francisco.
