*BLACK VINYL EDITION*The Band Under Your Bed since 1998. On vinyl for the first time 'Taste The Blood Of Zombina and the Skeletones' is the bands long out of print debut album. Originally released in 2002 this album blends rock n’ roll, new wave, punk rock, heavy metal, doo-wop and horror movies to create a charmingly lo-fi, fun-filled, love letter to all things spooky. For this limited Record Store Day picture disc edition, inspiration was drawn from the cover art to press the album on never-to-be-repressed ‘Zomb-Os’ vinyl.

WATER DAMAGE - 'INSTRUMENTS'
Formats
CFUL0338 - 2xLPs
Details
**BLACK VINYL REPRESS**Water Damage is ten people from one town and one sound from twelve people. For Instruments, the plus two are guitarist David Grubbs and saxophonist Patrick Shiroishi, neither of whom blunt the angle or confound the aim. The tempo? Slow and low. Four tracks, averaging twenty minutes each, the pace never above a comfortable walk. The damage creeps, a forest becomes a mountain, and the faithful move forward. The album is named after Fugazi, in a manner, and "Reel 25" takes after the Shocklee Brothers, in a cry. Stop asking the lord how many drummers this band has and and ask him how much of your mind, babe. Some people say drone and same people say trance and some people say invocation through patterned unity. Some people just say rock and we let them set their clocks back. Lie down and let these holy treads flatten you. Just because Water Damage know what they are doing doesn't mean you have to. Fix your hearts or die!

WATER DAMAGE - 'LIVE AT LE GUESS WHO?'
Formats
CFUL0339 - LP
Details
**REPRESS ALERT**Black Vinyl - Hand Stamped Outer Sleeve Kraft Card - Full Size Insert Water Damage don’t play songs. They invoke states. It’s not rock and roll, it’s ritual repetition therapy, like if Glenn Branca got stuck in a feedback loop with La Monte Young and they both forgot what year it was—Texas 2025 or Berlin 1972 or maybe just eternity’s parking lot. This isn’t music for driving—unless you’re driving into the sun with your eyes rolled back and the gas pedal held down with a cinderblock of intent. Captured in Utrecht, Netherlands at the almighty Le Guess Who? Festival, where churches tremble and strobes reflect off every holy surface, Live at Le Guess Who? is a document of sustained sonic immolation. Eight members. Two drummers. Multiple stringed instruments. One saxophone. All hammering away at "Reel 25," captured live here shortly after the recorded version which would end up becoming the lead track on their most recent double LP Instruments. A single idea drilling into the molten center of your skull with the grace of a jackhammer ballet. It’s not a show. It’s a slow-motion landslide with amps. And for this particular descent into the drone abyss, Water Damage were joined by two very special fellow travelers & honorary members: Ajay Saggar (Bhajan Bhoy, Chela) adding six-string sorcery and smolder, and Patrick Shiroishi, the free-reed exorcist himself who is a guest on Instruments and just happened to be at Le Guess Who? as well, channeling ghosts through saxophones like he’s trying to crack the sky. As if Water Damage weren’t already enough of a wall, these two brought the ceiling and the floor. Water Damage, the Austin psych-drone monolith with the un-Googleable name and the wall-of-amplifiers ethos, doesn’t just flirt with chaos—they drag it behind the van and mic up the gravel. Their motto? “Maximal Repetition Minimal Deviation.” Which sounds like the world’s most menacing yoga class or a commandment from some amp-fried cult, and maybe it is. This ain’t no avant-noise chin-stroke either. It’s hot and dense and loud like a steel mill hallucination, and if you find yourself dissociating mid-set, that just means it’s working. This is music that doesn’t “build”—it grinds. It gnaws. And then it blooms. If you're lucky, it leaves you somewhere softer. Le Guess Who? handed them the altar. Water Damage, Saggar, and Shiroishi set it on fire.

PRIMITIVE RING - 'PRIMITIVE RING'
Formats
ITR424 - LP (COLOURED)
769152436418
Details
**ON COLOUR-IN-COLOUR VINYL** PRIMITIVE RING consists of Bert Hoover (bass/vocals), Charles Moothart (guitar/vocals), and Jon Modaff (drums). The Los Angeles power trio formed in September 2024 when Hoover and Moothart came together seeking a new creative outlet. In 2025, the band released four 7"s on four different labels (Greenway, In the Red, Reverberation Appreciation Society, and Fuzz Club UK). They hauled amps and drums into bars to hone the sound of the newfound brotherhood that is Primitive Ring. Rock and roll is in its essence a primal experience, and the name reflects that. Three individuals collide and egos rattle, shedding layers and growing new limbs. Archetypes flash to the rhythm of a freight train and the crown is passed hand to hand like a good luck charm, symbolic and communal. Rock and roll is for the people and Primitive Ring is for the taking. At least it will be when the band's debut LP is hurled into the future via In the Red Recordings. Primitive Ring is 11 tracks coming in just under 42 minutes. It was recorded by Mark Rains in December of 2025 at The Station House in Echo Park. The album is the genesis story of a lightning bolt flashing in the eternal drama of creation and destruction. The album showcases the distinct writing styles of each member, but the overall aesthetic is a woven tapestry demarcating the timeless meridian. The record is the spawning of a collective vision. This is something we all share, and we must remind one another how electric humanity can be.

OLAF RUPP - 'FUZZY LOGIC'
Formats
PAL097 - 2xLPs

Details
German guitarist Olaf Rupp combines elements of traditional flamenco (rasgueados, arpeggios, picados) with the fractured cadences of Derek Bailey, fusing them together with a blast-furnace tone recalling John Lee Hooker's most blown-out extremes. And yet, despite decades of concerts and releases on FMP and Emanem, often with marquee-grabbing collaborators like John Zorn, Peter Brötzmann, Butch Morris, Paul Lovens and Lol Coxhill, Rupp's music is largely unknown outside of European free improvisational circles, and (until now) has never been presented on vinyl. Over its four double LP sides, Fuzzy Logic sounds like a Guitar Solos-era Fred Frith musing on Jandek or Carlos Montoya essaying the music of Cecil Taylor, veering from unadorned yet forceful exclamations into torrents of austere, alien gestures packed with modal angst (a rarity in the capital-I Improvisation world), rewarding careful listening with previously unexplored microlandscapes of impossibly interlocked waveforms. Regarding the album's unique sound, Rupp writes, "Echtzeitmusik-people" -- referring to the most strident non-idiomists of the Berlin improv scene -- "will once again nag at all those minor chords and the indie rock fans will shake their heads in vain looking for the beat. But unrootedness is also a power, a gift, a way." Indeed, Fuzzy Logic is powerfully unrooted. But most strikingly, it tracks Rupp's autodidactic turn into the fraught world of effects pedals. These days, soldering-iron jockeys produce an absurd array of signal processing tools, from bit crushers to tone benders, lo-fi loopers to 24-bit digital arpeggiators, all designed ostensibly as creative tools but more often marketed towards lazy players plying YouTube gear demos rather than pushing their boxes past the limits. Fuzzy Logic, rather, beelines to the tone-smearing outer limits of overdrive, eschewing the well-trodden paths of wail, feedback and sustain to produce a rainbow spray of strange overtones, self-oscillation, and whispered notes beyond the reach of human touch. Tracks like Hundsrück Forest throw the electronics into sharp relief, subtly blending frozen hisses into a larger grid of crackling overtones before bursting into insistent atonal repetition. Powered by a small amp driven by an attenuator which allows maximum blow-out tone at low volumes (combined with a subtly-coaxed sound-stretcher and loop pedal), Rupp amplifies mercurial sonic details into liminal territories typically unexplored by players chained strictly to skin-on-strings. In tandem with the tech, Rupp's singular finger-charge remains. For Rupp, a cluster of fast-moving notes should be considered "one agglomerated sound in motion… using spectralistic fields of tones." Accordingly, every track is packed with motion and color. In a way, Fuzzy Logic echoes Palilalia's previous forays into the exquisitely fried spectrum of electric guitar exemplified by some of Bill Orcutt's records, but more pointedly by Cyrus Pireh's jaw-dropping explorations of speed-runs skittering through grainy distortion. But unlike Pireh, and unlike anyone else you'll likely conjure up, Rupp's work (despite its virtuosity) taps a primal throb dripping with eldritch and unspeakable menace, that punches through the buttery intellect to throttle the brain stem -- particularly at top volume, which is exactly how you should bathe in Fuzzy Logic to fully experience its torrential majesty. — TOM CARTER

**VINYL SOLD OUT** Erased Tapes are proud to re-issue The Red Book by Penguin Cafe, with an expanded vinyl track list which now includes the CD and digital-only “And Yet…” plus two tracks from the limited-edition Umbrella EP. This new edition will be available on limited translucent vinyl and CD, both with updated art from Studio Torsten Posselt utilising the original drawing from renowned British sculptor and Simon Jeffes’ partner Emily Young. Penguin Cafe was founded by Arthur Jeffes in 2009, bringing together a talented and disparate group of musicians initially to perform his father Simon Jeffes’ legacy of world-renowned Penguin Cafe Orchestra music, ten years after his untimely death in 1997. Following the release of A Matter of Life shortly after founding, The Red Book was released in 2014 to critical and fan acclaim. “The name The Red Book comes from the book by Karl Jung of the same name. The book is about, among other things, the way our subconscious interacts with and intrudes into our daily lives. I thought this fitted what we were trying to achieve with the second album quite neatly — namely, exploring musical worlds that are at once both familiar and strange. There is another meaning which is that the main mastered disc you end up with, the one from which all other copies will be made, is called the Red Book Master — so somewhere at some point there will be a disc on which will be written “The Red Book — Red Book Master.” The tracks on the album all fall on some point along a scale going from gently Apollonian at the one end to perhaps a bit more Dionysian at the other. For our purposes this would be the ‘spacey’ end — with tunes like 1420 and Aurora, and the ‘imaginary folk’ end — with tracks like Odeon, Radio Bemba and Black Hibiscus. The tracks between these extremes are, perhaps with Silent Sun in particular, an attempt to blend these two parts.” Arthur Jeffes — London, October 2013

BDYWRKS - 'THE FLOATING OPERA'
Formats
UOH015 - LP

Details
The Floating Opera is the debut album from US artist BDYWRKS (aka Theo Trump), who embraces static and abstraction as gateways to gorgeous harmonic drift and tactile melodic exploration. Its six chapters offer a transportive world of vaporous swells and fragmented beauty, born from a period of emotional isolation in the artist’s life, when the acts of composition and experimentation became essential therapy. Named in homage to Issey Miyake’s Bodyworks gallery exhibit (1983), they recall, “I was particularly taken with photographs of his mannequins seemingly floating up to the ceiling, and from the start, I wanted to make a sonic mirror of that.” The skillful, cohesive assemblage of disparate elements here is a direct result of an intuitive process, as the artist notes, “I treat each session as a constantly evolving, living thing, and in editing, I consider the possibilities of how much further I can go with spaces and frequencies.” As its many layers intersect and disperse, momentary consonances appear and vanish, while a quivering bed of static, always hovering at the fringes, provides reliable solace.

WARBY - 'STRUGGLES & RESOLUTIONS / BULLIES'
Formats
ESCO025 - 7"
Details
The debut single from singer & songwriter WARBY. Two reflective yet punchy tracks to introduce listeners to the songs of WARBY, as featured on the record Mystic Powers, set for release in August. On 29th of May art rock and soul inspired singer & songwriter WARBY is to release the first single from his much anticipated 28th of August debut album ‘Mystic Powers’. Titled 'Struggles & Resolutions’, the single will be released digitally via AWAL and as a special limited edition 7” (ESCO025) which also features album track ‘Bullies’ via Esco Romanesco. "In diplomatic relations as well as life, resolutions can be frustratingly slow to realise as the struggles continue, also be very hard to uphold. Perhaps the answer may lie at a deeper level”, says WARBY of 'Struggles & Resolutions’, while ‘Bullies’ was inspired by a friend describing those that hold positions of power as Etonian bullies, "but it can equally describe any bully you encounter, even the one that lives in your head." Having spent a lifetime encouraging others to tour and record, WARBY is steeped in music and live touring, has run indie labels, recorded with the group R.O.C, occasionally performing live; but has never released or performed any of his own songs before now. "I was always going to sing, be a musician” adds WARBY “like my Dad, but in my early twenties I was pulled further and further into the business of live music by a succession of phenomenal artists. I continued writing on and off for years, but as the thrills and spills of working with other musicians and my concert booking role expanded I could never truly find enough time to develop my ideas fully.” In 2020 as the world shut down and touring ground to a halt, a seemingly permanently busy WARBY suddenly found that he had the luxury of time on his hands. He began to work on writing songs, recording home demos of himself singing, playing guitar, bass and keyboards over programmed drums, and it soon became clear that a substantial amount of ideas and music now existed. "When it came to the writing and recording of these songs…well, what started as a relatively gentle sensation, become more insistent until it was hammering at my very being. I had no choice other than to get them down." ‘Mystic Powers’ was produced by James Knight, who gave WARBY space to work up the arrangements in his studio located in a roomy basement in Stoke Newington. WARBY called upon his friends Mal Troon (Jim Jones, Sea Power) on lead guitar and Patrick Nicholson (R.O.C, Mark Eitzel) on piano and and the tight rhythm section of Adam Betts (Pulp, Dave Gilmour) on drums and Dan Drury (Jarvis Cocker, James Taylor Quartet) on bass.

THREE THREE FIVES - 'THINGS FALL APART'
Formats
FC75 - LP
Details
Here’s one we’ve been looking forward to for a long old while at FC HQ; the return of Sheffield based psych duo THREE THREE FIVES with a new set of beautiful psych pop gems entitled “Things Fall Apart”. The premise has not changed, the band take the classic pop 1/4 chord change and mix up a hazy cocktail of dark space rock blended with euphoric summer melodies, all underpinned by a suicide-esque garage simplicity, sometimes electronic, usually motorik, but always rooted in a deep psychedelia. Massively recommended to all fans of Mazzy Star, “Lazer Guided Melodies” era Spiritualized and Galaxie 500 amongst others, this is a wonderfully consistent -no filler- full length from a band that doffs its cap to that age old Spacemen mantra of “3 chords good, 2 chords better, 1 chord best”. “Things Fall Apart” is a follow up to the superb “Kind of Surreal” LP on Feral Child from 2021, which sold out instantly and amassed glowing reviews in the likes of Shindig! etc and plays on BBC6 music. Arguably a little more electronic this record than it’s predecessor, it perhaps recalling the likes of Ladytron and -during it’s more instrumental passages- Bitchin’ Bajas, Spectrum or Stereolab, with kraut flavoured flourishes…. Either way, it’s ten tracks are a psych / dream pop trove of pop gems and with it being a limited pressing of 150 on vinyl, it’s sure to fly quickly….

The band were so happy with the performance and the recording that they decided to release it on cassette on Emmett Kelly’s Ha Ha label and sell it on tour. With the tape long sold out, In The Red is happy to bring this incredible performance to vinyl for the first time. “I love their records. They wrote fantastic singles and looked like they just crawled out of the ooze. What more could you ask for?” – Warren Ellis “The Scientists turned my head around and made a man out of me! They grew hair on my palms and made my socks stink.” – Jon Spencer “The Scientists proved to me that rock 'n' roll could be played by gentlemen in fine silk shirts half-unbuttoned and still dirty, cool and real.” – Thurston Moore

CELESTIAL POWER - 'S/T'
Formats
CFUL0362 - LP
Details
The Debut LP released by Cardinal Fuzz (UK) & Feeding Tube Records (USA). Presented in a hand stamped metallic copper ink (front and back) print on a black card sleeve with insert. Recorded during downtime but sounding anything but casual, Celestial Power emerged when Dead Sea Apes’ Brett Savage and Chris Hardman linked synaptic overload with Cardinal Fuzz’s own Dave Cambridge to form a three-headed amplifier cult. Heavy, raw, and deeply resonant, this is music that embraces volume, repetition, and the beauty of imperfection. What they’ve summoned is a sprawling liturgy of overdriven guitar mantras: brutal, blown-out, and gloriously repetitive. Imagine the Velvet Underground locked in a warehouse mainlining the kosmische pulse of some forgotten Krautrock commune while Bardo Pond’s ash-coated spirit hovers overhead, scattering embers into a storm of PSF-style amplifier abuse. Not so much songs as tectonic events. Not riffs, but rituals. This thing doesn’t purr it howls. You hear the room breathing. You hear amplifiers gasping as they’re pushed past mercy, past design, into some ecstatic mechanical breakdown. Every repetition drills deeper, pushing beyond the horizon line until time itself starts peeling back in sheets. And that’s the point. This is repetition as revelation. Volume as transcendence. Human hands wrestling raw electricity into shape, then losing control of it entirely. On “Mandate Of Heaven,” the circle widens with the arrival of Nik Rayne (The Myrrors), adding another dimension to the ritual, a desert prophet stepping into the feedback storm, pushing the album’s gravitational pull even further into the void. No compromise. No softening. No edges filed off. Just pure voltage, scorched earth repetition, and the kind of heavy psychedelic communion that feels less like listening and more like surviving. Step inside. Bring ear protection. Or don’t. 4 Tracks - 42 Minutes.

Details
Siltbreeze is proud to once again release a critical, unearthed treasure pertaining to the legendary Christchurch, NZ scene, PRE Flying Nun. Much like the The Spies The Battle Of Bosworth Terrace LP (2013), this archival collection of tracks titled An Afternoon With Victor Dimisich has never before been released & it's historical significance cannot be overestimated. We don't want to give too much away—Bruce Russell's brilliant summation/insert lays it all out-but we will share what Roy Montgomery (who was there) fired off wryly by way of a press release; Which of the following is true?: These songs were captured in demo form primarily to flesh out the threadbare Pin Group repertoire in early 1981. These songs were captured in pared back form because certain people felt that some very tender Cogle/Stapleton works were being lost in VDB steamroller mode. These songs were captured in rough form because four men in their twenties had a spare afternoon, a crate of beer that needed drinking, and a soft spot for dark ballads. All of the above. One time pressing, amazing timestamp insert included.

**LTD GOLD METALLIC COLOURED VINYL** Originally planned for 1985 to join in the onslaught of Elvisʼs 50th Anniversary commemorative reissues, A Date With Elvis came out in early 1986 in Europe only, where it went on to sell more than 200,000 copies. The only album featuring The Cramps as a three-piece band (Poison Ivy doubled on bass), it careens from the sociopathic advice of “People Ainʼt No Good” (later covered by Nick Cave) to mind-on-vacation odes like “Aloha From Hell” and “Kizmiaz” (where The Cramps prove they were exotic when exotic wasnʼt cool), in the process offing more P.T.P. than you can shake a snake at and fittingly finishing off with a soulful lovesick cover of the Charlie Feathers’s “Itʼs Just That Song.” “Can Your Pussy Do The Dog” was voted single of the year for 1986 in Playboyʼs annual music issue!
