Toe Music in conjunction with Forte Distribution is very proud to announce the release of the debut album by London-based six-piece, SixToes. If the album seems dark, mysterious, perhaps even a little dangerous, it's with good reason: 'Trick Of The Night' was written and recorded in three eerie locations: a cottage in Ely, Cambridgeshire in the grounds of an old mental asylum; in the old warder's quarters of Holloway prison and in a squat in London. This is music for dark nights with a bottle of whisky. Having already remixed Maps, supported with King Creosote, The Mekons and the toured friends and contemporaries The Mystery Jets, SixToes are one the most exciting and unique bands to watch in 2009. FILE NEXT TO: Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Antony and the Johnsons, Beirut and Bonnie Prince Billy's 'I See A Darkness'.
