3 boys and a girl who combine an inclination for melodic post-punk pop with an art rock aesthetic borrowed from The Fall and Can mixed with the melodious pop sense of My Bloody Valentine. The Bent Moustache's second full length recording after 2007's 'Forst', is a socio-politically sharp and well articulated mix of art rock, shoegaze and electronica that engages both brain and booty. The live shows are an explosion of energy that have seen them create an expanding fanbase around Europe and the USA (Sebadoh invited TBM to open for them on their USA tour in 2007 and their European tour in 2008). 'Pastures New Seasons Turn' sees the band return to their finest with 10 tracks of pure gold laced with sweet boy/girl harmonies coupled to shimmering guitars ("Skip A Breath"), psychedelic folk plains ("Pastures New Seasons Turn"), postpunk and art rock action ("Hey Mate (I've Got Plenty To Spare))" and the glitch and burn of electronica ("The Sound Of Sirens") ?.a shoegaze, artrocker, electronica delight! All songs were written, recorded and mixed by Ajay Saggar, the brainchild of TBM. He has previously played in Dandelion Adventure and Donkey?both bands whom were championed by John Peel?.and for whom both bands recorded sessions. This album will come out on the bands own label "Wormer Bros. Records" on vinyl and CD.
